Let’s learn together about the challenges surrounding immigration in our community.

About us

GRIP is a coalition of community volunteers working to raise awareness about immigration issues in Berks County through education, communication and advocacy. Our primary focus is to educate the community on the issues facing local youth and their families as they seek to continue their education, research possible paths to citizenship and safely become productive, contributing members of the community.

GRIP meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm and is open to anyone who is interested. Ask us where!

We are a community organization that educates the public on immigration reform. We are made up of community members, such as church leaders, immigration attorneys, high school and post-secondary school faculty, immigration leaders, and concerned citizens.

We make a difference, one person and student at a time.

The GRIP DREAMer Scholarship is for students whose immigration status (or lack thereof) does not let them get student loans or grants. There are legal immigration services in Berks County. If you would like to receive help with your case, please be sure the lawyer is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania or in the state you are in. Refrain from going to Public Notaries, also known as “Notarios.” They are not licensed attorneys and your case may be placed in jeopardy.
