The GRIP volunteer committee is made up of local civic-minded individuals such as church leaders, immigration attorneys, educators, students and other professionals. meets one evening per month and is open to all. We are a community-driven organization.
Our primary focus is to raise funds for our established DREAMER Scholarship which supports students who are not eligible to receive state and federal assistance for college.
We also work with local community organizations to educate the public about immigration issues, advocate against unfair practices against our local undocumented community members, and provide workshops upon request on these issues.
We provide referrals and resources for our immigrant community.
We aim to make a positive difference within our community.
